Admission to IIT through JEE MAIN & ADVANCED in Core Science & Research

Through JEE MAIN & ADVANCED

One can opt for many nationally reputed, centrally funded institutions in science background through cracking JEE MAINS & ADVANCE

Indian Institute of Technology

There are 23 IITs in India but all are not equally reputed for extensive scientific research in Basic Science e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geophysics, Geology, Earth Science etc. However for all streams mentioned above IIT DELHI, IIT KANPUR, IIT BOMBAY, IIT MADRAS, IIT KHARAGPUR, IIT GUWAHATI are the best for their impact in scientific research.

Pros: 1.Students will be given Master of Science degree after 5 years. Students are as previledged as B.tech students.
          2. Students get International exposure for those who wants to make carrier as Researcher. Students are sent to various reputed foreign universities for Internship. Also later for getting Ph.D. position in foreign countries are easier.
          3. For those students who wants to enroll for job in R&D fields or others, they also get placement

Cons:    In some cases teaching may not be up to the IIT standards & one cannot take tutions from outside (if one can manage then it's fine) as these are residential institute & every day schedule is very tough.

Eligibility:  Every year the cut off for qualifying for IIT through JEE MAIN & ADVANCED changes. But for top rated IITs & general category students one have rank around 700 in JEE ADVANCED however it varies every year.

Students who are strongly motivated towards Research in Science (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biological Science etc.) here a detailed Nature Index ranking is attached so that students can choose IITs according to their choice.
